Once a year Watertown,Wisconsin solicits   local artists to paint banners. This is my 4th year of participating. The banners are displayed on Main Street throughout the summer.   In October the banners are auctioned off.   (It is kinda fun and nerve wracking to hear people bid on your work.)

So it is now banner painting time. The hardest thing is coming up with something to paint. I went through my old Christmas cards and found my inspiration.

I love to paint. It relaxes me. I have so many ideas swimming in my head that I can't sleep. I am focusing on watercolor now. Bright colors combined with memories of my crazy life. I don't paint flowers but I paint everything else...
