I saw this amazing picture of this absolutely adorable girl who I really wanted to paint. My daughter in law put me in contact with the photographer Nellie Holmes. She agreed to allowing me to paint this young girl. Now the original photo had many dark shadows covering the girls face. It was going to be a challenge.
