This is a commissioned piece. I never show others a completed piece before the person who commissioned it has seen it. The client provided the cigar box and a photo. It was their favorite family dog who is no longer with them. This painting will be a birthday gift to her husband.

I like that I can make someone happy with what I do. I love to paint; I love that inner warm feeling I get when I see their response to what I’ve painted.
