For the first time I entered “Create! – Wisconsin Art Show a juried event held at the Richeson School of Art and Gallery in Kimberly, Wisconsin. I was notified this week that I received, in the amateur category, a 2nd place win with my watercolor painting of Nepal Girl. The photo was taken in Nepal by my cousin’s friend Melanie Wainwright who was stationed there. I loved the photo and was graciously given permission to paint it.

My painting will be on display until January 14, 2021. If you are in the area I encourage you to stop by and check it out.
